This blog is about my randomness.Elizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.comBlogger48125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-68776586560868496712012-05-29T11:45:00.001-05:002012-05-29T11:45:39.672-05:00So I guess relationships have been on my mind a lot lately. I'm not sure why but oh well, here's some more advice. ;)

So you meet someone you really like but you find out they _______ (fill in the blank). Whether it be smoking, drinking, have a crooked tooth, or you can't stand their relative. You can't try to change them. They are the only one that can decide if they want to change or not.

Let's say its smoking. I've dated my share of guys that smoke, it's not my favorite thing but I have never and will never ask a guy to quit for me. First of all they will blame you if you ask them. And second they are the only one that can decide to quit. I had a guy I dated who knew I didn't like it so he said he would quit. I told him if you want to quit do it for you not for me because I'm not asking you to. So he tried to kept saying he was going to but he never did. Which was fine with me. He smoked before I met him, and he still smokes to this day. I didn't try to change him because I liked him the way he was smoking and all. I'm kinda crazy and accept people flaws and all. I may not like their flaws but its what makes them who they are. We all have flaws it's what makes us human and what makes us different from everyone else.

Have a great day!
xoxo
E

Location:<a href='http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Don't%20Try%20to%20Change%20Someone&z=10'>Don't Try to Change Someone
Elizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-26410106765235343382012-05-23T13:04:00.001-05:002012-05-23T13:40:52.995-05:00Son's of PitchesMy brother plays on a softball team with a bunch of his friends. They voted on names and came up with a very unique name Son's of Pitches. I thought they were joking at first but then I saw the jerseys and the logo make it that much more funny!!
It's especially funny when the parents start yelling Come On You Son's Of Pitches!!!! They have the most fans and the loudest fans at every game. I went to my first game last night and I hope I get to go to more before my brother leaves.
I'm the pickiest person you will ever meet when it comes to the guy I date. I don't want just anyone I want someone who compliments me and is my equal.

Now I think communication is key to a good relationship. If you like someone then talk to them, that lets them know you're interested. Ignoring someone can be taken the wrong way. And a little tip guys if a girl texts you and you don't respond for awhile she's gonna think you don't want to talk to her anymore. If you're busy then take 3 seconds and tell her, then when you have time call or text her. Guys another tip girls like guys to contact them first and chase them. Kinda like in kindergarten when guys would chase the girls during recess. I want a guy to chase me but if I want to talk to a guy I will text first because I like to live in the moment.

Now I have to add the reason I feel like someone isn't interested if they haven't responded to me within a few days or at least a week, is because that's what has happened to me in past relationships. Guys just stop talking to me randomly for no apparent reason. I understand that you don't like hurting someone but I would much rather someone say hey I don't see this going anywhere so let's be friends. Or maybe they don't want to be friends but I would rather someone tell me then ignore me. I'm one to dwell and blame myself, I assume that I must have done something somehow. It also hurts and honestly it's a respect thing.

I have talked to many guys and girls about relationships and some agree with me and some don't. But that whats so awesome because everyone's different and they see things differently. I read a book called the 5 Love Languages, here's the website http://www.5lovelanguages.com/ Check it out take the quiz and see what your love language is, it's important for relationships, friendships, coworkers, family, etc.. One of mine is quality time, I like for someone to hang out and pay attention to me basically. So go see what's your love language.

xoxo
E

Elizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-21447497058964688342011-08-10T11:23:00.004-05:002011-08-10T23:52:21.614-05:00Single by ChoiceI have been asked so many times lately, "Why are you single?" Or when I say I'm single people say, "I don't understand why you are single!" Well the reason I'm single is because I'm picky. I'm picky in the sense that I'm not a serial dater. I will not date a guy that I can't see marrying. If he isn't husband material then I just won't date him. I'm not a one night stand kinda girl. My last relationship was 3 years ago and I think I may have gone on one date since then. I'm happy being single because I know one day I will find my future husband so what's the rush.

I do get asked out sometimes but most of the time I just don't see it going anywhere besides friends. I am the type of person to be blunt and up front about liking someone or not liking someone that way. The reason why is because I don't want to waste their time when I know its not going anywhere but the friend zone. I also don't want to waste my time honestly. I work a lot and mostly at night so for me to have a night off and actually go out on a date is a HUGE thing. I am giving up seeing my friends that I rarely get to see, hanging out with my family, or doing something I want to do.

I'm not picky in the sense that I have a list of things I want in a guy. I just know what I like and what I don't like in a guy. The only things I know I want in a guy is for him to be stable, come from a good family, and get a long with my friends and family. I don't think that's too picky but I also have to be attracted to the guy. I like to get to know a guy first and be friends and talk and just get to know each other. If there's a spark then great but if theres not then I made a new friend. I love making new friends but some guys don't like rejection. I don't either and I have been rejected by every single guy I've ever dated. And ya it sucks but it made me who I am today.

So there that's why I'm single and I don't settle for just any guy. My future husband is out there somewhere and when I'm supposed to meet him and date him I will. Until then I will be single and happy being just me.

Have a wonderful day!

xoxo

E
P.S. I have a crush on someone now so I'm gonna see where it goes. And no I won't say who it is ;)

Elizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-13517242853714357132010-12-08T09:41:00.003-06:002010-12-08T10:24:47.336-06:00All I want for Christmas is...

This year I don't really want too many things. There's not much of a middle ground on forgiveness. I'm hardheaded when it comes to forgiveness. I won't let someone forgive me until I've forgiven myself so it may take few days before I actually say "I'm sorry", but I when I say it I've earned the right to have that persons forgiveness. I know it sounds silly but I'm extremely hard on myself about everything, but especially letting someone forgive me.

This Thanksgiving I'm thankful for so many things.
-I am thankful for my family (that I can't wait to see later this week)
-I am thankful for my awesome friends (that I need to see ASAP!)
-I am thankful for my loving pets
-I am thankful for my job at Easely Amused. I have the most amazing boss and co-workers. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have these amazing people in my life.
-I am thankful for my new intership on the Out of Bounds ESPN Sports radio show on 105.9 the zone. Bo and Cooper are so much fun to work with.
-I am thankful for the air I breathe
-I am thankful for this Earth
-I am thankful for the food I get to eat
-I am thankful for my house that I own
-I am thankful for the new friends I have in my life.
-I am thankful for the people who help make this awesome world of ours a better place. I hope to find a way to do my part.
-I am thankful for so many things that I can't even think of anything else.

So what are you thankful for? Please feel free to leave a comment telling me what you are thankful for.Elizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-34516849685568431982010-11-20T19:56:00.002-06:002010-11-20T20:15:22.057-06:00Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1I went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 at midnight on Thursday with Cindy and Ruthie. We had so much fun. First we had to go in search of some coffee, which really was a search. All the coffee houses in the Jackson are close at 10:00pm which is crazy but I understand. So we ended up going to a gas station for a lot less. It was my second cup of coffee in a 4 hours, but I knew I needed it. I was not going to fall asleep in the middle of the movie! So we finally get the theater and take a group picture as a keepsake. Then we decide to go inside because theres a line forming already and its only 10:30. We go to the end of the line and wow are there some people dressed up. I saw two Bellatrix girls, a bunch of girls and guys Gryffindor uniforms, a bunch of people with wands, and even people in pj pants and slippers. I was wearing my "Muggle" tee and I was comfy. The room was buzzing with excitment. You could feel it like it was a tangible thing in the room. The line started to move so I had to start drinking my coffee. I knew I wouldn't finish it so I gave it to Cindy to finish off. When we got in the theater we found seats pretty easily near the top.

I could hear people taking about parts in the book they were hoping would be in the movie. Some where even debating their favorite characters. Cindy, Ruthie, and I were talking more about Unleashed as well as Harry Potter. We hadn't seen each other since Saturday night so we were catching up on everything. I was so happy to have met these two who share my interests and get me even though we just met. We each took turns going to the bathroom before and Cindy got drinks and popcorn for us to share. I just chewed on some gum the whole time because I didn't want to drink anything. I was not gonna miss any of the movie for a bathroom break. As soon as the first commerical came on people started to cheer. I mean who cheers for commericals but everyone knew that meant the movie would be on shortly FINALLY! There were some good previews and some that I was no interested in at all!

The movie starts and a lot of people cheer and clap and...

I'm not spoiling it for anyone. It was a great movie!! Some lines were straight from the books, which I loved! They didn't put everything in, but its a movie and they can't put everything in. I cried, I laughed, I held my breathe, I felt for the characters, and my heart was beating out of my chest during some of the pivotal scenes. All in all I loved the movie and I want to see it again. I know I missed something because there was just so much to see and experience. I can't for Part 2 to come out, wish it wasn't in 3D but oh well.

If you haven't read the books then start reading them NOW! Then start watching the movies. The books are always better because they go into more detail. But I do have to say I love the movies. Its nice to see the books come alive on screen.

Have a wonderful day!
xoxoElizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-71323391866011856772010-11-16T12:07:00.022-06:002010-11-21T19:46:41.255-06:00New Friends and UnleashedLets see I will start at the beginning. I was on twitter one day and saw that some of the people I was following were donating to St. Tammany's Humane Society. So I clicked on the link to see what was going on. I love animals and so I decided to donate some money to them. I think the fact that they are a no kill humane society really made me want to give even more. I noticed that it was part of a birthday project for Ian Somerhalder. So I read into that too. I missed the deadline for getting a signed autograph and winning tickets and all that fun stuff. But I was ok with that. I just wanted to do my part to help the Humane Society. So I went on my merry little way. Then Ian tweeted something about a fraud site taking some of the donations. I was so scared I had donated to the wrong site. I was so upset, you see I lost my job in June so its not like I'm rolling in money to giveaway. And I was sad that the money I wanted to go to the humane society may have been taken by someone else.

Then low and behold I get an email from Natalie, who I have become great friends with now, telling me I won tickets to the Unleashed Bash on the Bayou. I couldn't believe it! I was so happy to find out that my donation had reached the right people and that I had won tickets. Natalie had a lot to tell me about the Bash and even did something so amazing that I will always be so grateful for. She couldn't get the tickets to me in time because she lives in Canada and I live in Mississippi, so she bought me a ticket. Before I could protest and tell her "No you don't need to do that!!", she had already purchased it and said it would be at Will Call. I still couldn't believe that she did that. I am a complete stranger to her and live miles and miles away. So we started talking about all kinds of stuff. Turns out we are both Cajuns or Aracadians as she says. We have so much more in common than you would guess. We now talk on a daily basis and I am so thankful that I have her as my friend. She is so amazing. She has an interview today so I've been thinking about her even more today. I know she will get the promotion, because she rocks!

So now that I had a ticket to Unleashed, that was only 3 hours from where I live, I had to find somewhere to stay. I used to have family who lived in Mandeville, but they moved to Biloxi so they were out. So I asked a friend but she was going to be out of town and none of my friends could go down with me to stay at her house. And I didn't want to be alone in a strange city that I didn't know so that was out too. So I called my old Youth Director and she was so excited and insisted that I stay with her. So I had a place to stay, yay!

I started to talking to Romancia, Ruthie, Mak, and several others, as well as Natalie about who was going to Unleashed. I was so happy that even though I was going alone I had people I could find and hang out with. Little did I know that most of these people would become such great friends and some even live near me, super plus!! So I am waiting and waiting and waiting to start getting ready for the event Saturday. I knew where I was going kinda, I was a little nervous about going over the Causeway. (I remembered it being super long from childhood when I would visit my relatives for Mardi Gras and most summers.) I got across it before it got dark and it was beautiful watching the sun play across the water. I was on my way to the hotel to meet Ruthie for the first time. She was so funny when she opened the door she said, " You're like a normal person, not a crazy fan!". I said, "Yeah I'm pretty normal, not a crazed fan". I helped her finish getting ready before we left to meet up with Cindy and Mak. When we got to their room, I had no clue what to expect, but as soon as they opened the door I knew that I had met good friends.

I ended up just riding with them to the event instead of taking my own car. We met up with a few more people and then we were off. We lost the other car as soon as we pulled out to of the parking lot, lol. But it was just fine we knew where we were going. When we got there they dropped Ruthie and I off and then parked. We only had to wait for about 5 minutes before they opened the doors. I was holding my breathe as I went to Will Call to get my ticket. I was like oh please have my ticket, if not I'm just gonna go sit in the car. They had it and I was so happy, I never doubted Nataile I knew it would just be my luck that they wouldn't have it. Then we passed the Puppy Island and I wanted to go right away, but I decided to go inside and find our table 1st instead. It was easy to spot Ruthie's name on the table on the 5th row from the front.

Ruthie went to the Champagne Reception and Mak, Cindy, and I started to walk around and find something good to eat. And OMG was the food good! I'm half Cajun so I know good Cajun food when I see it, smell it, taste it. There was an open bar, but since I had to drive 45 minutes back to Westwego and across the Causeway again I was not drinking anything with alcohol in it. Even though they had some good wine and an awesome frozen drink called a Pain Killer. I was asked if I was even old enough to drink when I went and got one for Ruthie. After I got back to the table from getting Ruthie something to eat and drink, (I wanted to help her out because she was nervous and I didn't want her to be) she told me that she was gonna see if Cindy, Mak, and I could go on stage with her to present Ian with the amount. I couldn't believe it, I was so excited to be able to go on stage and help Ruthie not be so nervous.

One of the ladies, Jasmine, that was at our table who's from NC had adopted a puppy so I wanted to go see her. So off we went to Puppy Island, and let me say that if I could have I would have brought a few home with me. They were all so sweet and happy. She had picked out a female Schnauzer mix. She was so cute and had kinda crazy hair and I HAD to hold her ASAP! As soon as she was in my arms she nuzzled up to me chest and let me pet her and love on her for at least 15 minutes. She was the sweetest little puppy, which made me miss my Schnauzers back home really bad at the moment. A professional photographer came in while I was holding "Somer" named after "Somerhalder". He got some pics of me and the puppy that I can't wait to see. I finally gave her back because I needed to go get ready to go on stage. When I looked in the mirror I had red splotches from the puppy nuzzling me. It was dead sexy let me tell you, haha. I was like oh well these things happen, as my niece says.

Once I got back to the table it was time to go on stage, one of the handlers had come to get us to walk us over to the stage. All that was going through my head was please don't trip and fall because that would be my luck. I would be the one to fall and flash everyone, but that didn't happen. I made it on and off stage without tripping. Ruthie lead the way on stage, I'm behind her then Cindy then Mak. Vaughn the director of St. Tammany's is talking about how great everything is and giving a really great speech. Then he hands it over to Ruthie. At that point they wave Ian to come on stage. When he gets to Ruthie he steps in between Ruthie and me. He was so nice and apprecitative thanking everyone and even let out a "Holy Cow" when she told him the total. He then kissed Ruthie on the cheek. Then he turned and totally caught me off guard as he gave me a kiss on the cheek, then Cindy, then Mak. I am still blown away that Ruthie and Natalie and the fans raised $11,100 for St. Tammany's!! I am so glad that I got to be apart of presenting Ian and Vaughn with the amount. So we went off stage and I got a pic with Ian.

Then he had to go back on stage to talk about a diamond tennis bracelet his Mom was modeling worth $20,000 I heard. While he was on stage Ruthie said oh we need to get Natalie on the phone. So I got my phone out and called her. I told her what was going on and that I was gonna get Ian to talk to her when he got off the stage. When I told him I had her on the phone he said, "I absolutely want to talk to her!" So he took my phone and talked to Natalie about coming to Atlanta to visit and wanted to know WHEN she was going to come down and thanking her for everything.

I proceeded to start scratching his back, he looked like he could use it and its something I do absentmindly. He started to shake his leg like a dog does when you scratch them in a good spot. Then everyone got pictures and we talked about the foundation he's launching on his birthday.

I told him I wanted to help in anyway, which I actually mean. (I have always wanted to help make a difference somehow and I'm very passionate about the environment, recycling, and animals. I really hope I get to help out with his foundation in some way. I don't have a full time job so I have time to help.) Romancia came over to get us on Ustream but it was too dark to really see, I tried to use my iPhone but it didn't work too well. Then Ian said bye to all of us. He gave everyone kisses but me, which is fine he held my hand for a little while. I have to say that he is a really awesome person. I know he's a celeb n all but I see him as a person who is trying to make this amazing world of ours a better place for everyone from humans to animals. Yes he was on Lost and now he's on The Vampire Diaries but he's a normal person like you and me. I like to treat people as normal as possible because I know that if I was in their shoes I would want the same.

So we went back to the table and proceeded to take off our shoes! I always take my shoes off, its just something I've always done. I went back to Puppy Island to hold some more puppies for a little while. It was kinda chilly so I was tucking the puppy under my jacket to keep him warm. He had the cutest ears ever! They were so big for his little head. If I could have taken him home I would have named him Dobby, yes that's from Harry Potter.

As the night wore on Cindy and I walked around and ended up at the back where Ian was taking pics and signing autographs. These two girls were standing in front of us for awhile. Then they turned around and asked if I could take a pic for them. I said of course and thought to myself I do this most nights at Easely Amused. While I was taking the pic I kept thinking that these girls looked so familiar. So I asked where they were from. They said, "Oh we aren't from here, we are from Mississippi." I said, "Oh where in Mississippi, I'm from there too." She said, "The Jackson Area." I said, "Me too! You look so familiar, have you ever been to Easely Amused?" They both said, "Yes I thought you looked familiar too!" I still can't believe I went out of state to an event and still found people who knew me through Easely Amused. I mean I'm used to it in the Jackson Area, I get noticed all the time. I've even had someone yell across a bar one night "Hey Elizabeth from Easely Amused!!" Easely Amused is an instructor taught painting class in the Jackson area. I work there as a helper and a teacher. I love helping people paint, its very rewarding!

So back to Unleashed and good friends. The night ended like it started by going back to the hotel. I went and uploaded my pictures to Ruthie's computer so she could have them. Then I had to make the trek back to Westwego. I said my goodbyes and was on my way. Now I have to say that I hate the Causeway at night. My mind kept playing tricks on me in the pitch black dark that encircled the Causeway. I was so happy when I could see the lights on the other side. You just don't even know. I somehow missed my exit on I10 West back to the Clearview Blvd exit. But I righted my wrong easily and was on the Huey P Long bridge before I knew it. Again another bridge that I'm not a fan of, but it could grow on me if I lived down there.

So I met some amazing ladies on my trip to Unleashed. Thank you Natalie for buying my ticket and for just being you. You are awesome and a true friend that I am so happy to have.

Thank you Ruthie for taking me under your wing and being the amazing person you are. I lost my full time job about 4 weeks ago today actually. It was all of a sudden and I was not prepared at all to lose a job that I liked a lot. Now I didn't love it fully anymore and I don't know why that is exactly. But I did my job well and loved all of my clients and my co-workers(a few of us butted heads from time to time ;) ). God obviously knew that I was ready to move on before I knew it was time. With that said I have finally mourned my loss and I can now close that chapter in my life and career. I wish everyone who still works there nothing but the best.

So I've been Temping and picking up extra shifts at my part time job at Easely Amused, an instructor taught painting class. (If you live in the Jackson area and haven't been to a class yet then what are you waiting for. Go to www.easelyamused.com and pick out a class you want to take. We will walk you step by step through the painting and you will go home with a great piece of art to hang on your wall or they make GREAT gifts. Ok that's the end of the infomercial.) I have also been hanging out with my nieces and nephew, sister, and Mom a lot. I have loved every minute of it. I get to play with them and see the grow. It is truly awesome.

I am also making a lot of stuff. Today I'm making some flowers for headbands and I may paint a little later. Tomorrow I'm going to make some jewelry and maybe some wall hangings or wall clocks. I have so many projects I want to make that I need to make a list so I don't forget anything. I will be selling some on here, some at Easely Amused, and maybe some on my Etsy account. So be looking for some of my creations. Or if you want me to make you something just let me know and I will be happy to make a painting, jewelry, headband, or home decorative object for you.

Have a wonderful day!
xoxo
EElizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-70590500691563640202010-07-06T13:06:00.008-05:002010-07-06T13:52:37.105-05:00Finger Print Family TreeFamily Trees are special and unique. Jon and Kate are filing for divorce now, as so many other Reality TV personalities have before them. I’m sure we all remember when Nick and Jessica decided to get a divorce. I was sad because they made such a great couple, but it just didn’t work out. The same goes for Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro. They had a Reality TV show that followed them through the planning of their wedding and then the wedding itself. And now they are divorced. And lets not forget about Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler. They also had a Reality TV show and are now splitsville.

Brittany Spears and Kevin Federline had a short-lived Reality TV show and they also divorced. Their marriage was just way too public in my opinion. I think that if you are a celeb then you don’t have any privacy anyway, but to add a TV show has to take its toll. Even Hef and the Girls Next Door broke up. I know Hef has new girlfriends every few years but I thought Holly and Hef would get married one day. The only Bachelorette/Bachelor to stick it out so far have been Trista and Ryan. Trista came in second on the Bachelor before getting her own shot on the Bachelorette. I’m happy that at least one couple has survived….for now. I know that its not easy being married in the first place but to add a camera crew and an audience of viewers has to make it even harder. Everyone knows your business and has an opinion on it. Another couple that has survived Reality TV is Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. They have been together for so long now and are so made for each other that I don’t think Reality TV could tear them apart.

Watch out Heidi and Spencer you could be next. They meet all the criteria, 1) They met on the Hills, 2) VERY public relationship, 3) married on the Hills, 4) went on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, do I really need to go on? I hope they make it, I really do but the odds are kinda stacked against them.

I wish all celeb/Reality TV couples good luck. If you want to be on a Reality TV show go on Dancing with the Stars but don’t have a Reality TV about your relationship because it seems it breaks a marriage apart….unless you’re Ozzy and Sharon or Trista and Ryan.

Who would you be sad to hear broke up?

Who is your favorite couple past or present?

-XOXOElizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-29295224672733505982009-06-18T08:37:00.003-05:002009-06-18T08:49:05.668-05:00Great Chick- Lit Books by Jane CostelloI have Twitter as you can see on my side bar. And through Twitter I have met so many awesome people. One that I am so happy I met is Jane Costello.

Jane Costello is a former journalist for newspapers including the Liverpool Echo, Daily Mail and Liverpool Daily Post, where she spent four years as Editor. She is the author of the best-selling novel Bridesmaids and lives in Lancashire with her husband and two young sons.

Below are both of her books front and back covers. I was recently informed that I am her first official US fan which is awesome! Anyway, you need to pick these books up they are absolutely wonderful. I read Bridesmaids in one day. I would have read The Nearly Weds in a day but I got kinda busy. She is currently writing a 3rd book and she's hoping to publish it in the US!!

Go visit her website. And go buy her books here. If you like Chick Lit then you will love Jane Costello.

-XOXOElizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-81864713889278478772009-06-15T09:57:00.001-05:002009-06-15T09:58:51.880-05:00BounceHere are some additional uses for a Bounce Dryer Sheet that are really handy.
My Mom emailed me this and I just had to pass it along!

1. It will chase ants away when you lay a sheet near them. It also
repels mice.

2. Spread sheets around foundation areas, or in trailers, or cars
that are sitting and it keeps mice from entering your vehicle.

3. It takes the odor out of books and photo albums that don't get
opened too often.

4. It repels mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop
when outdoors during mosquito season.

5. Eliminate static electricity from your television (or computer) screen.

6. Since Bounce is designed to help eliminate static cling,
wipe your television screen with a used sheet of Bounce to keep dust from resettling.

7. Dissolve soap scum from shower doors. Clean with a sheet of
Bounce.

8. To freshen the air in your home - Place an individual sheet of
Bounce in a drawer or hang in the closet.

9. Put Bounce sheet in vacuum cleaner.

10. Prevent thread from tangling. Run a threaded needle through a
sheet of Bounce before beginning to sew.

11. Prevent musty suitcases. Place an individual sheet of Bounce
inside empty luggage before storing.

12. To freshen the air in your car - Place a sheet of Bounce under
the front seat.

13. Clean baked-on foods from a cooking pan. Put a sheet in a pan,
fill with water, let sit overnight, and sponge clean. The anti-static agent
apparently weakens the bond between the food and the pan.

14. Eliminate odors in wastebaskets. Place a sheet of Bounce at the
bottom of the wastebasket.

15. Collect cat hair. Rubbing the area with a sheet of Bounce will
magnetically attract all the lose hairs.

16. Eliminate static electricity from Venetian blinds. Wipe the
blinds with a sheet of Bounce to prevent dust from resettling.

17. Wipe up sawdust from drilling or sand papering. A used sheet of
Bounce will collect sawdust like a tack cloth.

18. Eliminate odors in d
dirty laundry. Place an individual sheet of
Bounce at the bottom of a laundry bag or hamper.

19. Deodorize shoes or sneakers. Place a sheet of Bounce in your
shoes or sneakers overnight.

20. Golfers put a Bounce sheet in their back pocket to keep the bees away.

21. Put a Bounce sheet in your sleeping bag and tent before folding
and storing them. It will keep them smelling fresh.

22. Wet a Bounce sheet, hose down your car, and wipe lovebugs off
easily with the wet Bounce.

-XOXOElizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-61421677906435261872009-06-11T14:45:00.003-05:002009-06-11T14:54:16.552-05:00I Love Mac's!Ok I own a Mac laptop and an iPhone. Oh and I also have a Mac at work too. They are the most user friendly computers ever! If you have never even used one just head on out to the Apple Store or to Best Buy or anywhere else that sells them and just play on it for a minute. You will fall in love and the price will no longer matter because its love at first click!
They have this really cool program that comes with the all Mac's that have a camera called Photo Booth. Its so cool you can take pictures with it and there's all different kinds of backgrounds and goofy settings.

Ok I know I will be made fun of because lets face it some of these are really funny. Anyway as you can see there's a variety of features and this is just some of them.
Photo Booth is not the only program that comes on most Mac's there are a ton of really fun features that I could go on and on about. But I won't because I want you to go and play on on so you can experience it all for yourself.
So go out and play on a Mac today so you can fall in love just like I did way back when I first started using Mac's.
-XOXOElizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-16369791601468665912009-06-10T10:54:00.002-05:002009-06-10T11:16:00.341-05:00Typos

I am the Queen of typos lately. Maybe one day I can hand my title over to someone else but for now just call me the Queen of Typos!

Elizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-16535147417639193572009-06-09T15:15:00.003-05:002009-06-09T15:18:23.255-05:00Boots

I have found my boots that I want so bad! They are Dan Post Boot Company and they are Tan El Paso. And absolutely Fab-ul-ously!!! I want them ASAP, but I will wait until I either have money or for my Birthday in August. But I honestly can't wait to put these precious babies on. They will be my new favorite shoes I can just see it. Here they are at Zappo's. I bought it a year ago today. I have updated so many things in the past year and my parents helped me do it all. We painted the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. We pulled up/cut down bushes. We put in appliances in the kitchen. We fixed my back deck. We took out shelves and put up curtains. I still have more improvements to make like a back fence, a tile floor in the bathroom and to replace the carpet and tile in my bedroom. I also need to fix the porch and plant some flowers. I love my house and so happy to be a homeowner.Elizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-60220158602152982932009-06-02T20:13:00.002-05:002009-06-02T20:19:49.911-05:00Something I've Always Wanted To DoIf I had one wish I have so many things I would wish for including world peace. But if someone wanted to do something for me then I would want to go behind the scenes of a movie being made. I wouldn't talk or anything just sit and observe. I think it would a very interested experience. I love seeing the behind the scenes of all kinds of things. I watch all the behind the scenes of every DVD I own that has that. I own all the Lord of the Rings extended versions with the behind the scenes. I love to know how things work I guess. Everyone has seen a movie but how many "normal" people, not actors, actresses, extras, directors, producers, set designers, prop managers, stunt doubles, etc... have seen the behind the scenes of a movie? I would be fun to just sit and watch and be in on the secret of the movie magic. Of course it would be cool to see the actors and actresses but I think it would be cool to see how the crew works and how the director directs the actors. If anyone ever wants to do something nice for me this would be it.Elizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-18125501303004084112009-06-02T19:46:00.003-05:002009-06-02T19:55:05.430-05:00ShoesI love comfy shoes. I don't know about you but I hate when my shoes rub blisters on my feet. I have so many shoes that I have only worn once or twice. But I have about 10 that I wear over and over and over. They are the ones that I've broken and I can wear for hours without hurting my feet. I love flip flops because they are extremely comfortable and easy to slip on. I have several different pairs of Yellow Box and other no name brands. I also LOVE my green (of course)

converse. If I had to recommend a pair to someone it would be them. They come in every color and even some really cute patterns. They go with everything even a casual dress! Now the next pair of shoe I get will be cowboy boots. I've wanted some for forever! I saw some over the weekend and decided that I just have to have some. I think I can wait until my birthday in August but I may not be able to wait. I'll let you know when I buy some.
-XOXOElizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-92070997048444874492009-06-01T20:08:00.002-05:002009-06-01T20:23:10.807-05:00My WeekendMy family was in town the past two weekends and I have had a blast! For Memorial Day weekend my Sister, Brother-in-law, nephew, and niece were all here. My brother even came home on Saturday. Friday night we had a wine tasting at my parents house. I had only the first 3 wines before I had to cut myself off. I was way too tipsy! (I have a very low tolerance.) We had 6 courses and they were wonderful especially the desert my favorite ever Tiramisu from Amerigos. De-Licious!! Then Saturday we went to garage sales and hung out around the house playing with my niece and nephew. They are just the cutest babies ever! Sunday we went shopping at Bass Pro Shop and Dogwood. It rained off and on throughout the weekend but that was ok we still had a blast. Monday they had to go home :( I was very sad to see them pack up and leave to go back to Arkansas. But they will be back June 19th!!
This past weekend my Aunt Patty, Uncle Steven, Katie, and Emily all came and stayed at my parents. It was the first time in a long time that they didn't have any races to go to. We played giant horseshoes of all things all weekend! It was a blast I was an intermediate player, not great but not half bad. Saturday morning we hit up some more garage sales and had so much fun. I only bought two pairs of shoes but everyone else got a few good things. Then we sat around , played some horse shoes, and ate lunch before going to Renaissance for the art festival. WOW did they have some cool stuff but it was so expensive I couldn't afford anything so we went to the shops instead. I fell in love with a pair of cowboy boots that I'm going to ask for my birthday coming up. Then we went to Olive Garden!! My all time favorite restaurant. We had way too much fun as usual. We can go anywhere and have fun I promise. Then back home to play more horseshoes. Sunday we had a badminton tournament. My Aunt and Uncle and cousins tied for first. I proved once again that I have no depth perception and I swung and missed quite a few times and made everyone laugh. But my Uncle's serve was the funniest thing by far. You just had to be there! Anyway the past two weekends have been so much fun with lots of family! I miss them I wish they come up more often. I can't wait until June 19th!!
-XOXOElizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3010911566207197314.post-72202712331874547792009-05-28T21:16:00.004-05:002009-05-28T21:31:55.319-05:00My Mom

My Mom, Betsy, is the best Mom ever! I am so glad, fortunate, and blessed that she is mine. Today I was even happier than normal that she was my Mom. We were going out to eat at Hamil's in Madison for some of her co-workers birthdays. There was a LONG line and we were towards the front when a guy came in pushing a guy in a wheel chair. My mom told the guy that he shouldn't have to wait in line. To which the guy replied I don't think we can skip in line. So my Mom went to the front of the line and asked the ladies at the cash register if the guy in the wheel chair could go to the front of the line. The lady said no and so my Mom being my Mom asked if it was ok if they went in front of our group. And of course everyone said it was fine. I was so proud of my Mom for going out of her way to help someone else out. She does work for the MS Dept. of Rehab so she works with disabled people all the time, but still it was a very nice thing to do for a stranger. That's why I love my Mom because she is the best example. She does stuff for people that she doesn't know just to be nice. She is the sweetest, most kind woman. I am very blessed to have such a wonderful, loving Mom. THANKS FOR BEING YOU MOM, I LOVE YOU!!
-XOXOElizabethhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01216961007755120512noreply@blogger.com0
